Structural tank repair
Damaged tank assessed. Documented. Repaired right.
Structural and barrel repair to petroleum tank trailers. Damage from incidents, corrosion, impact, or routine wear. R-stamp work performed where required, documented per code.
Tank trailers take damage. A backed-into corner, a rolled unit, a corroded section, a sticking valve that's been ignored too long. The question isn't whether damage happens — it's whether the damage gets repaired correctly when it does. Post Onsite handles structural and barrel repair on petroleum transport tanks. We assess honestly, document thoroughly, and repair to code.

Why insurance adjusters and fleet operators send tanks here
When a tank is damaged, the question of repair vs replace gets answered by whoever assesses the damage. Some shops give up too fast and recommend replacement when repair would be more economical. Other shops attempt repairs that shouldn't be attempted, creating compliance problems downstream. Post Onsite gives honest assessments. If a tank is repairable, we tell you. If it isn't, we tell you that too.
We work directly with insurance adjusters on incident-damage claims. The documentation we provide — pre-repair condition, repair scope, code compliance, post-repair testing — supports clean claim resolution and defensible repair records.
Common questions
How do I know if my tank can be repaired?
Bring it in or send us photos and a description of the damage. We'll assess and give you an honest read on repair vs replace. Some damage is straightforward to repair. Some damage indicates the tank has reached the end of its useful life. We tell you which it is.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Regularly. We provide the documentation insurance adjusters need: pre-repair assessment, repair scope, photo documentation, code compliance, post-repair testing. Most insurance claims involving Post Onsite repair go smoothly because the paperwork is there.
How long does structural repair take?
Depends entirely on the damage. Simple repairs (small weld repair, fitting replacement) might be 2-3 days. Major work (frame straightening, full bulkhead replacement, multi-compartment repair) can be 2-4 weeks. We give a real timeline at the quote stage.
